Who we are
We are the actor's acting school - run by actors, for actors. The two managing directors are Adrian Zmed (Grease II, TJ Hooker) and Wolf Larson (LA Heat, Tarzan). Notable names on the school's board of directors are Peter Scolari (Bosom Buddies, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Newhart) and Sally Struthers (All In The Family). Renee Tenison and Rosie Tenison offer their services as modeling consultants.
What we do
We offer acting seminars to anyone interested in learning more about what it takes to be a successful working actor. The seminars cover topics ranging from acting technique and preparation to a discussion of "who the players are" and the "roles they play" in an actor's career. Many actors began their careers as models. For that reason, the seminars dedicate some time detailing how to get started in modeling and how modeling can be used as a stepping-stone to an acting career. Students gain an exceptional insight into the acting world from instructors who generously share their own personal acting experiences - both positive and negative. The seminar wraps with a lively no-holds-barred Q and A session.
Where and When
AAA travels across the United States and Canada offering one and two-day seminars. Seminars are scheduled continuously throughout the year.
Why
Acting, like any other profession, cannot be mastered in a one or even a two-day seminar. We at AAA know that it takes many years of study and "on-set" experience to reach even an "industry level" of proficiency. The most accomplished actors of our time still receive outside instruction to hone their skills. With that in mind, AAA's intent is to simply give aspiring actors a solid base from which to begin their careers. Too many talented people have never realized their full potential because of mistakes they made early in their careers or simply because they didn't know where to start. AAA's goal is to give everyone a "fair shot." Many acting classes are taught by people who have never been a part of the industry - let alone been actors. What better way to get started on the right foot, than to learn from actors who have already "traveled the road?"

AAA has expanded it's curriculum to include a series of seminars called "The Road To Broadway." These seminars are designed to introduce people to what it takes to "make it" in musical theatre. Instructors for this special series are working Broadway singers and dancers such as Angie Schworer (The Producers), Meg Gillentine (Fosse, Cats), Mellisa Mahon (42nd Street, Cats, The Sound of Music, Radio City Rockettes), Jennifer Lee Crowl (The Producers, Radio City Rockettes, Crazy For You). Each seminar will put attendees through various dance exercises and combinations from shows such as Chicago, Fosse and 42nd Street. ACTORS ARE TALKING

"I believe any success in life is made by going in an area with blind optimism. I am not the richest, smartest or most talented person in the world, but I succeed because I keep going and going and going." - Sylvester Stallone

"I believed so thoroughly I was going to be a star that whenever I got turned down I thought - My God, when are they going to wake up?"- Richard Dreyfus

"If you cried a little less, the audience would cry more." - Dame Edith Evans

"…the curtain goes up, and you've got to pretend to believe, because no one else will believe you unless you believe in yourself." - Sir Ralph Richardson

"There's no point in selling your soul in Hollywood, because no one is buying." - Joseph Bologna

"The challenge is in the work, not pleasing them." - Calista Flockhart

"Everything seems to be difficult to me. Everything seems really impossible. And then you do it."- Daniel Day Lewis

"Acting is not a competition. Everything must be done for the good of the film or else everybody loses." - Michael Caine

"…capture something that's happening, rather than something that's prepared." - Francis Ford Coppola
